At Buddy, we take great care in designing and crafting our products to ensure a high-quality experience. Below, you’ll find everything you need to know about our shipping, returns, and refund policies.

Pre-Order Shipping
For all pre-ordered products, shipping is expected to commence in July 2025. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email confirmation with a tracking number.

Shipping Policy

Where We Ship
We currently ship within the United States and Thailand. At this time, we do not offer international shipping outside these regions.

Processing & Delivery Times
Orders (excluding pre-orders) are processed within 3–5 business days before shipping.
Estimated delivery times vary by location:

  • United States: 3–7 business days
  • Thailand: 3–7 business days

Once your order ships, we’ll send you a tracking number so you can follow your Buddy’s journey to you!

Pre-Order Policy (Final Sale & Non-Refundable)
Buddy lamps are thoughtfully crafted, and pre-orders allow us to efficiently plan production. All pre-orders are final sale and non-refundable.
By placing a pre-order, you acknowledge that your item is being produced and will ship at a future date.

Please ensure that your shipping address is accurate at the time of checkout. Buddy Design Inc. is not responsible for packages that are lost, delayed, or delivered to incorrect addresses due to errors made by the buyer during the checkout process. In cases where incorrect information is provided, Buddy Design Inc. will not be liable for any loss or additional costs, and any reshipment will be at the buyer’s expense.

Shipping Delays
Shipping times are estimates and may vary due to unforeseen circumstances. Buddy Design Inc. is not liable for delays caused by events outside our control, including but not limited to customs delays, weather conditions, carrier issues, or other force majeure events. In the event of significant delays, we will notify you as soon as possible.

Inspection Upon Delivery
Upon receiving your order, please inspect the product thoroughly before using it. If any damage or defects are identified, you must notify Buddy Design Inc. within 48 hours of delivery to qualify for a return or exchange due to shipping damage. Failure to report damage within this timeframe may void your ability to make a claim for a return or exchange.

Return Policy

30-Day Return Guarantee:
At Buddy Design, we prioritize customer satisfaction. However, returns are strictly limited to items with a verified manufacturing defect or if the product does not perform according to the provided description. Buddy Design Inc. does not accept returns for buyer’s remorse, preference changes, or any issues not directly related to defects in the product.

Conditions for Returns:
We accept returns only for verified manufacturing defects.
To qualify:
✅ The issue must be related to a manufacturing defect (e.g., electrical malfunctions, structural flaws).
✅ The return request must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.
✅ The product must be in its original packaging with all accessories included.

We do not accept returns for:
❌ Change of mind or personal preference (e.g., color, size, style).
❌ Normal wear and tear or damage caused by misuse, accidents, or improper handling.
❌ Minor variations in color or finish, as slight differences may occur due to the production process.

How to Request a Return for a Defective Item
If you believe your Buddy has a manufacturing defect, please follow these steps:

Email us at hello@buddydesign.co within 7 days of delivery.
Include:

  • A clear description of the issue.
  • Photos or a short video showing the defect.
  • Your order number for verification.

Our team will review your request and determine if it qualifies for a return or replacement. If the issue is confirmed, we will provide return instructions. Buddy Design Inc. will cover return shipping costs for verified defective products.

Refunds & Replacements

  • Once we receive and inspect the defective item, we will process a replacement or refund at our discretion within 7–14 business days.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
  • If a replacement is issued, we will ship it to you free of charge.

Liability Disclaimer
Buddy Design Inc. is not responsible for:

  • Minor cosmetic variations that do not impact product functionality.
  • Defects caused by misuse, improper care, or unauthorized modifications.
  • Any claims exceeding the original purchase price of the product.

*Our maximum liability in any case is limited to the cost of the product you purchased.

Force Majeure
Buddy Design Inc. shall not be held liable for any failure to fulfill orders, shipping delays, or any obligations under this policy when such failure is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control. These circumstances include, but are not limited to, acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, war, terrorism, government actions, customs delays, or disruptions in transportation or communication networks. In such events, we will make reasonable efforts to notify customers of any significant delays or disruptions.

Modification of Terms
Buddy Design Inc. reserves the right to modify this policy at any time without prior notice. By purchasing from Buddy Design Inc., you agree to the terms outlined in this policy as they stand at the time of purchase.
