Buddy Design Inc. 6 Month Limited Warranty Policy

At Buddy Design Inc., we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. We offer a 6-month limited warranty from the date you receive your product. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, as outlined below.

Warranty Coverage

Eligibility

To qualify for warranty service:

• Customers must provide a valid proof of purchase, including an order number and receipt.
• This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
• Products must have been purchased directly from Buddy Design Inc. or an authorized retailer.
• This warranty applies only to personal, non-commercial use. Any use in a business, rental, or other commercial setting automatically voids the warranty.
• This warranty is valid only in the United States, Canada, and Thailand.

What is Covered

Buddy Design Inc. will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace a product or component found to be defective due to faulty materials or workmanship under normal use within the warranty period.

Normal use is defined as:

✔ Indoor use only within home environments.
✔ Use within reasonable environmental conditions (e.g., standard indoor humidity and temperature levels).
✔ Proper handling and maintenance, consistent with user instructions.
✔ Use with manufacturer-approved accessories and chargers.

This Warranty Does Not Cover:

❌ Misuse, abuse, or neglect, including but not limited to dropping, crushing, or exposing the product to extreme temperatures, moisture, or liquids.
❌ Unauthorized modifications, tampering, or disassembly of any part of the product, including self-repairs or alterations. Any modification automatically voids this warranty.
❌ Accidental damage, including impact, fire, or power surges.
❌ Normal wear and tear, including minor cosmetic damage that does not affect product functionality.
❌ Consumable components, including batteries, unless failure is due to a manufacturing defect.
❌ Damage from third-party repairs, modifications, or unauthorized accessories.
❌ Use in non-residential settings (e.g., corporate offices, hotels, or rental properties).

How to Obtain Warranty Service

To submit a claim, customers must:

1. Email hello@buddydesign.co with:
   
   • A copy of the original receipt or order confirmation.
   • A detailed description of the issue, including photos or videos, if applicable.
   • Contact information for follow-up.
2. Wait for Evaluation – A representative will assess the claim and respond within 10-15 business days
3. If a return is required, Buddy Design Inc. will provide specific instructions.

Shipping Costs for Warranty Claims

• If a defect is verified as a manufacturing defect, Buddy Design Inc. will cover the return shipping costs.
• If the issue is not due to a manufacturing defect (e.g., misuse, environmental factors), the customer is responsible for both return shipping and any repair/replacement costs.
• In rare situations where shipping costs are exceptionally high, Buddy Design Inc. may evaluate alternative solutions.

Limitations on Liability

The remedies described in this policy are the sole and exclusive remedies available under this warranty.

Buddy Design Inc. is not liable for any damages beyond the original purchase price of the product, including but not limited to:
❌ Loss of income or business opportunities.
❌ Data loss.
❌ Incidental, consequential, or indirect damages.

This warranty is limited to customers in the United States, Canada, and Thailand, subject to applicable local consumer protection laws.

Additional Legal Considerations

• Implied Warranties Disclaimer: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Buddy Design Inc. disclaims all implied warranties, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
• Force Majeure: Buddy Design Inc. is not responsible for delays or failures in performance due to events beyond its control, including natural disasters, supply chain disruptions, or government regulations.
• Jurisdiction: This warranty shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delaware.
