Chevy' Story

Hi! I’m Chevy Chanpaiboonrat, the solo female founder behind Buddy :)
I launched Buddy right out of college after graduating from Parsons School of Design in 2023, with our first pre-order going live in fall 2024. What began as my senior capstone project quickly turned into something more personal—a way to bring my design values to life and help people feel better in their day-to-day lives.

As an industrial designer and wellness enthusiast, I’ve always believed the objects we surround ourselves with shape how we feel—mentally, emotionally, and physically. The spaces we live in influence our mood, our focus, and our sense of balance. That’s why I created Buddy: functional little companions designed with empathy and infused with a playful soul. It’s not just about utility—it’s about emotional resonance, daily rituals, and creating small moments of calm, because even a few seconds of rest can make a big difference in your day.
